The 2017 Mira Salinas is 100% Monastrell with 15% alcohol., a pH of 3.42, high ripeness and freshness. It matured in 225-liter French oak barrels, 20% of them new, for eight months. This is still quite oaky and heady, with ripe fruit and a full-bodied palate with jammy flavors and plenty of dusty tannins, finishing dry. Ripe and oaky Monastrell, for fans of the style. 23,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2020.
