The 2014 Selección Crianza is a blend of Garnacha with other grapes, Syrah and Mazuela (aka Cari?ena). This is a change in the last couple of years, as it used to have Tempranillo, Syrah and/or Merlot. It was aged for ten months in French and American oak barrels, and is more balsamic and spicy than the Bole, with notes of vanilla and sweet spices and an approachable, commercial profile. The palate is medium-bodied, with some dusty tannins and a traditional profile. 192,000 bottles produced.

The 2011 Borsao Crianza Selección is a blend of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Merlot aged for ten months in oak barrels. It feels very balanced, clean and harmonious, with some floral note, plums and red and black cherries, with the wood very well integrated. The palate is medium-bodied, supple, with a fine texture, polished tannins and good acidity, ending supple. Very good wine and very good value. 100,000 bottles produced.

The 2007 Borsao Crianza Seleccion is made up of 50% Garnacha, 25% Tempranillo, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 10 months in French and American oak. Dark ruby-colored, it displays a perfume of red and black fruits, spice box, leather, and violets. In the mouth it leans toward elegance while also providing plenty of grip and concentration.
