The 2009 Flor d’Englora Roure is a blend of 63% Garnacha, 32% Carinena, and the balance Syrah, Merlot and Tempranillo aged in 25% new barriques (the first oak treatment for this cuvee). Dark ruby-colored, it exhibits a bouquet of smoke, mineral, espresso, Asian spices, black cherry, and plum. Savory, ripe, medium to full-bodied, and concentrated, it is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 5-6 years.
