The 2011 + Ritme Blanc is produced from a blend of old-vine Garnacha Blanca and Macabeo partially fermented in new French oak barrels. It has a bright golden color and a ripe nose of yellow plums and quince, perhaps still suffering a little reduction from the bottle. The 2010 + Ritme Blanc is a blend of 70% Garnacha Blanca and 30% Macabeu picked from 30- to 80-year-old vines, macerated on the skins for two days with 30% of the crop fermented in new French oak barrels, the remainder in tank. It has a patisserie-tinged, lifted bouquet infused with nectarine, lime pith and pressed flowers. The palate is crisp and tense on the entry, vibrant and lively with a touch of lemongrass decorating the mellow finish. Drink now-2016.
