Leeuwin Estate's 1999 Shiraz Art Series was aged in 100% French oak. Elegant, restrained, and sexy, it is not the typical blockbuster, over-the-top, peppery, blackberry fruit bomb commonly found in southern Australia. It exhibits a ruby/purple color, a certain elegance, medium-weight, and plenty of sweet fruit in the finish. Consume it over the next decade.
