The 2010 Barolo Serralunga is particularly perfumed in this vintage with pressed flowers and rose petal backed by sweet spice, cherry cola and moist pipe tobacco. The wine takes a while to open in the glass before it reveals its inherent complexity and beauty. Anisette, balsam herb and a touch of dried rosemary complete the portrait. Drink: 2016-2026. Bordeaux-like, revealing black currant, cedar, iron and olive flavors, supported by an iron spine.
