This is one of the first 1994 Oregon Pinot Noirs to be bottled and released (a vintage with the potential to be the finest in that state's short viticultural history). At $12, the 2600 cases of this wine are likely to fly off of retailers' shelves. I do not believe Argyle has ever produced a better Pinot Noir. The color is a healthy medium to dark ruby and the nose offers up intense aromas of ripe black cherries.
