The purple-colored 1992 La Bernardine offers a perfumed bouquet of exotic spices, herbs, pepper, leather, and black fruits. Made from only 15 hectoliters per hectare, this dense, concentrated wine possesses fine ripeness, copious quantities of rich, chewy fruit, and a long, heady finish. It is soft enough to be drunk. Anticipated maturity: now-2005. Last tasted 9/95.
