Medium-deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Reserve Barbera gives aromas of kirsch, red plum preserves, raspberry cordial and a whiff of violets. The rich, full-bodied palate is packed with warm cherry flavors supported with medium-high acidity and a low to medium level of soft tannins, finishing long. Drink it now to 2015.
