The 2012 Benufet is pure old-vine Garnacha Blanca from slightly chalky soils fermented and aged in contact with the lees with batonnage. The color is pale and bright yellow and the nose offers white flowers and yeasty, smoky spices. The palate is fresh with a razor-sharp citric acidity that needs to get better integrated. Enjoy with food or give it some bottle age. Very good value. Drink now-2018.
