The 2010 Leopardi Gran Reserva Brut Nature is an assemblage of four different wines selected because of their elegance and aging potential, blended and put in bottle for a second fermentation where it matured in contact with the lees for 48 months. The blend came to 40% Xarello, 40% Macabeo, 10% Parellada and 10% Chardonnay and the final wine has no dosage added. It has a serious nose with some elegance, although a bit closed at first. There is good precision, seriousness and good balance in the palate, the time in bottle has created good integration of the gas and acidity. It is perfect to drink now. 35,000 bottles produced.
