Guigal produces an excellent Tavel made in a big, deep, strawberry, cherry-scented style, with full body, and a long, heady finish. The 1991, from a difficult year, is pleasant and fruity. The 1990 could easily stand up against the finest dry roses from the Cotes de Provence and Bandol. While the French claim these wines will last for 4-5 years, I would opt for drinking them over the next year.Importer: Classic Wine Imports, Boston, MA.
