The 2013 Pinot Noir is a blend of estate fruit with organically-managed, old vine sites. It is handpicked and fermented in one-ton vats with some with 100% whole cluster that contributes 5% of the final blend. It has a light but well-defined brambly red berry nose with attractive floral scents developing in the glass. The palate has tart red cherries on the entry, a little earthy in style but with a bright, edgy, very "natural" finish. I would be inclined to enjoy this in its flush of youth rather than aged.
