The 2016 Vernaccia di San Gimignano is lean and watery in consistency with a slight touch of apricot sweetness that you feel in the mouth. This is a very easy-going and simple wine with little complexity or depth to speak of. The finish is crisp and short with drying mineral notes at the end.
