The 2015 Roseira is an equal blend of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, aged for 21 months in used French oak. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. This is a typical red in a style that is easy to understand. The producer (with the sibling winery Gouvyas) has produced others that are little different this issue. This still displays the producer's attention to acidity. It is focused, with mid-palate finesse, then finishes tight. Moderate tannins and the acidity provide plenty of grip as the finish lingers. It has a refined and fresh feel. This is gracefully constructed but still reasonably concentrated. It's a great food wine.
