Similarly colored to the 2014, the opaque ruby/purple colored 2013 Ventoux la Quintessence is more backwards and concentrated than the 2014 and offers lots of graphite, black and blue fruits, smoke and caramelized meats in its structured, tannic, medium-bodied, yet ripe profile. Still a baby, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring and will drink well through 2028.
