The 2019 Branco, the estate white, is a blend of 60% Ant?o Vaz, 30% Arinto and 10% Viosinho, unoaked, very dry and coming in at 12.6% alcohol. Seeming solid in the mid-palate for the regular fresh white, this is also focused and precise. The textured finish has some grip and tension as well. If I had a minor quibble, there was a reductive hint around the edges. That should get better in time—or give it some air. Overall, this seems dry, serious and impressive for the level. We'll see how and if this develops. It is worth leaning up today.
