The single-vineyard 2005 Ciliegiolo San Lorenzo is made in a super-ripe style. Medium to full in body, the wine reveals impressive richness and depth in its dark fruit, leather and spices but also shows early signs of oxidation that suggest it won’t be particularly long-lived. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2012.
