Produced from fruit harvested at 1.6 tons per acre, the 2004 Pinot Gris Vitae Springs Vineyard displays aromas of almonds, dried honey, and yellow plums. This fine value is broad, silky-textured, creamy, and packed with yellow fruit flavors. It is totally dry (for those readers who fear residual sugar) and was bottled without being fined. Drink it over the next 3-4 years. It is heartening to see that Mark Vlossak, St.-Innocent’s winemaker and co-owner, has maintained reasonable prices even after having received considerable praise for his wines over the years.www.stinnocentwine.com; tel.
