Made with fruit from young vines, the 2016 Langhe Nebbiolo A Mont shows lots of varietal purity with dusty notes of dried rose hip, lavender, smoke, tar and toasted anise seed. There is a touch of fruity ripeness that serves to add to the smooth softness of the finish. This is an easy-drinking wine to serve with roasted or fried chicken. Some 12,000 bottles were produced. This wine was fermented in stainless steel and then aged in large oak casks for 12 months.
