Both of Alain Paret’s 2006 St.-Josephs are elegant, mid-weight, relatively soft wines. The 2006 St.-Joseph 420 Nuits is a perfumed, medium-bodied effort revealing slightly darker fruits and more loamy, earthy characteristics. Both wines should be consumed over the next 4-5 years.
