The 2011 Tinto Figuero 4 Roble comes from 20-year-old vines and is raised for four months in new French and American oak. It has a simple bouquet of raspberry, strawberry and a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with gripping tannins. It is quite broody toward the finish, but there is plenty of chocolate-tinged dark fruit to be found it has a solid backbone. Drink now-2017.
