The 2004 Tipico, a blend of 40% Grenache, 40% Monastrell, and 20% Shiraz, was aged in neutral French oak pungeons for 15 months. The result is an outstanding cuvee dominated by its Grenache component. Classic notes of kirsch liqueur, ripe black raspberries, spice, licorice, and pepper are accompanied by a medium to full-bodied, elegant, savory, broad, delicious, supple-textured wine to drink over the next 3-4 years.Importer: Ken Onish & John Gorman, Southern Starz, Huntington Beach, CA; tel.
