2017 was warm and dry, which was radically different from 2016, so the 2017 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is quite different from the previous vintage; it is ripe and heady. It fermented in concrete vats and half of the volume matured in French oak barrels for 12 months. There are some toasted aromas here, a touch of ripe blackberries. It's a warm-climate Cabernet Sauvignon that keeps its poise, showing contained ripeness. It has a juicy palate and some fine-grained, slightly dusty tannins. 80,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in September 2018.

Muscular, with grippy tannins supporting the dried berry and roasted plum flavors, featuring notes of iron and hot stone. Dried green herbal accents emerge on the finish. Drink now through 2022. 1,111 cases made, 400 cases imported.??–KM??Region: Argentina / Mendoza Select to Add
