Whole cluster fermentation was employed to craft the fabulous and medium-to-dark ruby-colored Beaune Greves. Lovely aromas of candied orange peels, raspberries, cherries, and strawberries give way to this medium-to-full-bodied, intense, seductive (yet structured and firm), vibrant wine. Its floral, red fruit-filled flavor profile lingers for at least 30 seconds. This impressive wine will provide near term drinking yet should evolve effortlessly for up to ten years. Projected maturity: 1999-2008.
