Graillot's 1992 red wine cuvees are not as profound as his 1991s, 1990s or 1989s. They are soundly made, round, supple wines that will provide good near-term drinking. I have never been an admirer of Graillot's Hermitage. While peppery, spicy, medium to full-bodied, and tannic, the 1992 Hermitage lacks the depth and intensity expected from the finest wines of this hallowed appellation. Cellar this wine for 3-4 years (I hope the fruit doesn't fade) and drink it over the subsequent 6-7 years. Importer: Europvin, USA, Watertown, MA; Tel. (617) 924-7620
