The 2014 Chablis Cuvée de la Butte comes from vines close to Les Butteaux on calcerous soils. There is apple blossom and granitic aromas on the nose, a tad more austere than its peers, but nicely focused. A little more intensity would not go amiss. The palate is fresh on the entry with blood orange and freshly sliced pear, a dash of spice towards the finish that is just a bit abrupt. Hopefully it will fill out more with bottle age.
