The 2016 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett (AP 04 17) displays a clear, fresh and flinty nose with aromas of crushed stones and phenols. Lush and round on the palate, with intense and slightly sweet Riesling fruit but also very nice salinity, this is a mouth-filling yet still a bit harsh Kabinett with a long and intense finish. 9% alcohol and 51 grams of residual sugar. Keep it for at least 5 years. Tasted February 2018.
