The 2008 Vulcaia Fume offers up intense varietal notes layered with honey, French oak, flowers and mint. As always, this is a decidedly exuberant style of Sauvignon that needs time in the glass to fully blossom. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015.
Inama is one of Veneto’s premier producers. The estate originally attracted attention for their rich, full-bodied whites, but in recent years I have been just as impressed with their reds.
