The 1991 Richebourg is all silky suppleness, with a super-sweet perfume of black fruits, toasty new oak, roasted herbs, and flowers. Medium-bodied, with gorgeous concentration and a terrific, even explosively long, velvety-textured finish, this is an elegant wine for drinking over the next 7-8 years.
Importer: Martine's Wines, San Rafael, CA.
NOTES ON THE 1992s FROM BARREL: Meo's 1992s are among the most successful wines made in the Cote de Nuits in that vintage. They are even softer than the 1991s, with excellent concentration for the vintage.
