LAST TASTED 1/94 My records reveal several positive tasting notes of the 1984 Burgess Cellars Cabernet. Although the wine exhibited an impressively saturated dark ruby/purple color in this tasting, there was no bouquet save for vague wood and red and black fruit notes. The wine was hard, dry, astringent, and completely closed. These tasting notes and the low rating are inconsistent with previous reviews of this wine.
