The 2006 Chardonnay is fermented with indigenous yeast with some malo-lactic, which is allowed to occur naturally. It displays ripe apple and lemon curd notes with some warm grapefruit, straw and a bit of toasty cedar. Ripe and generously fruited in the mouth, it has an appealing savory character and some silkiness to the texture, enlivened by crisp acidity. A little oak influence remains in the long finish.
