This domaine has received numerous accolades from the European press. Although I enjoyed the 1990 Chambolle Musigny-Les Amoureuses and the Chambolle Musigny-Les Amoureuses, I was surprised by their shallow, light-colors and forward, ready to consume personalities. None of the wines from Amiot-Servelle appear destined to last more than 7-8 years. The two best wines include the Clos de Vougeot, which exhibits a light ruby color, an attractive flower and berry-scented nose, medium body, a round texture, and an excellent long, lusty finish.
