The 2004 Il Sole di Alessandro (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a firm, robust wine packed with masses of dark fruit. Still incredibly youthful, this powerful wine will require considerable patience. Today it is full-bodied, substantial and incredibly pure, especially on the close, where notes of tar, licorice and earthiness come to life, adding further complexity. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024.
