Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Shiraz Jimmy Section offers blackberry preserves, prunes and blueberry pie notes over hints of anise, sandalwood, fertile loam and dark chocolate. The full-bodied palate fills the mouth with blackberry preserves and dried fruit notes, with a good foundation of chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing long and chewy.

A spicy mix of sarsaparilla, mahogany, clove and cinnamon notes up top mingles with a core of chewy, rugged plum and blackberry flavors at the core. Strikes a terrific balance on the finish.
