Signorello makes an intriguing Bordeaux-style white wine called Seta. This is a blend of 58% Sauvignon Blanc and 42% Semillon. The 2014 Seta (Semillon / Sauvignon Blanc) is aged seven months in 66% new French oak and comes across as a big, rich Bordeaux white. It’s elegant with crisp orange blossom, caramelized citrus and grapefruit, a beautiful fragrance, medium to full body and nicely integrated oak. Unfortunately, the production is only about 288 cases. I suspect this wine can drink nicely for another 5-7 years, possibly longer.
