Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2009 Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon is scented of mint, dried herbs and underbrush over a core of warm cassis, black plums, pepper and cedar. Full bodied and with a good amount of taut, muscular fruit, it has a solid backbone of crisp acid and medium to firm level of grainy tannins, finishing long and pure.
