A better vintage than 2003 for Christian Dauriac’s tiny 3 hectare vineyard, this 2002 is one of the most successful Pomerols of the vintage. A deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by scents of black cherries, plums, figs, cassis, licorice, and toasty new oak. Medium-bodied, with a supple texture, excellent concentration, and a fleshy finish, it should be at its finest between 2007-2015.
