The brilliant 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape St.-Georges reveals a touch of toasty oak in its sensational bouquet of garrigue, licorice, black currant and black cherry fruit. Dense, rich and tightly knit, it needs 2-3 years of cellaring (atypical for a 2009), and should keep for 15+ years.
This relatively small Chateauneuf du Pape estate is owned by Coralie Goumarre.
