Pale ruby in color, the Schubert’s 2009 Black B Pinot Noir has fragrant aromas of rose petals and lavender over a core of red cherries, cranberries and red currants with hints of cinnamon and dark chocolate shavings. Medium to full bodied, it is richly fruited with spicy red berry flavors supported by crisp acidity and silky tannins, finishing long. Drinking nicely now, it should cellar through 2016+.
