The 2005 Clos d’Englora AV 14 is 37 % Garnacha, 21% Carinena, 12% Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Monastrell, and Tempranillo aged for 14 months in French and American oak. It offers up a perfume of crushed stone, smoke, espresso, Asian spices, black cherry, and blackberry leading to a rich, opulent, layered wine with tons of fruit, plenty of spice, and 3-5 years of aging potential. Drink it from 2013 to 2025.
