The 2005 +7 is 50% Garnacha, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Syrah aged for 12 months in new French and American oak. It exhibits a slightly baked, mineral, black cherry, and black currant bouquet. This leads to a smooth-textured, chewy, ripe wine with plenty of spicy black fruits, good depth, some concealed tannin, and a medium-long finish. This tasty Priorat can be enjoyed over the next 8-10 years although it is likely to evolve for another 2-3 years in the cellar.Importer: Andres Arribas, Wine Associates, Whitehouse Station, NJ; tel.
