Produced from the Les Poisots and the premier cru Les Combes vineyards, the medium-to-dark ruby-colored Pommard exhibits powerful aromas of blackberries, and cherries. Its medium-to-full-bodied, thick and intense flavor profile is packed with ripe dark fruits yet is a well structured, elegant wine with a long finish. Impressive for a village offering, it will provide delicious drinking between 1998-2004.As always, ratings with a score in parentheses indicate the wine was tasted from cask, not bottle.Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel (510) 524-1524.
