The 2007 Millennium Tinto is a blend of 60% Garnacha, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah and 5% Merlot aged for 12 months in new French oak. That oak does come across on the nose, which is a pity, because there is some fine red berry fruit trying to express itself underneath. The palate is medium-bodied ,with a sorbet-like freshness on the entry and vibrant, tart red cherries and citrus peel dominating the finish. Importer: Vin de Terra Imports, VA; tel.
