The medium-bodied 2004 Zinfandel Old Crane Ranch, from a vineyard planted in the 1880s, possesses 15.9% alcohol. This dark ruby/plum-colored, front end-loaded cuvee reveals sweet notes of blueberries, black cherries, cola, spice, and herbs. It finishes more quickly than its siblings, but there is no doubting its elegance and sexiness. Consume it over the next 2-3 years.
