Medium garnet colored, the 2009 -The Gomersal- Grenache displays aromas of warm raspberries and kirsch over fragrant notes of rose hip tea, tobacco leaves and underbrush plus hints of chocolate and pepper. Ripe, richly fruited and medium to full bodied, it has an appealingly complex savory / fruit balance supported by a medium level velvety tannins and lively acid, finishing long and layered.
