The 2010 Pinot Bianco is impeccable. It possesses striking varietal fruit, well-delineated aromatics and clean, vibrant minerality. Pears, quince and flowers linger on the finish, but what truly stands out is the wine’s textural brilliance and creamy, expressive finish. This is a dazzling wine for the money. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.
These new releases from Cantina di Terlano are impressive. As much as I admire the top wines, I simply adore the entry-level bottlings for their unbeatable combination of quality, value and regional/varietal typicity.
