The 2014 Chardonnay Hope’s Cuvée, a selection of the best lots and barrels, is a stunning Chardonnay. There are 379 cases of this wine, which went through 44% malolactic and was aged in 56% new French oak. The wine shows plenty of orange blossom, honeysuckle, lemon custard and crushed rock notes. It is certainly very Burgundian and almost like a grand cru from the village of Puligny-Montrachet. Terrific stuff, with stunning texture and richness, this wine should drink well for another 5-7 years.
