There are fully three barrels of the 2021 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Grandes Ruchottes, as the parcel was pruned after the April frosts. Opening in the glass with aromas of pear, crisp green apple, fresh mint and iodine, it's full-bodied, ample and satiny, with racy acids and a seamless, complete profile. The division of the domaine's holdings means that Alex Moreau has retained the recently replanted part of this emblematic parcel.
