A blend of 54% Sauvignon Blanc, 46% Semillon with 8% of this blend barrel fermented and matured for six weeks in new French oak barrels, the 2010 Sauvignon Blanc Semillon opens with notes of lemongrass, fresh straw and dried herbs over a core of preserved lemons and kumquat. Light-bodied and showing appealing signs of evolution, it has a racy line of acid and a good, long finish. Drinking well now, it should keep to 2016+.
